  2. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a government initiative that offers discounts on monthly broadband Internet service and connected devices. GO MD USA Wireless provides this benefit service to its customers with support from the Federal Communications Commission. If you meet the qualifying criteria, you can receive our monthly data plan for free*. It's important to note that this discount program is limited to one per household and is non-transferrable.

    Pell Grant in the current award year
    Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children ( WIC)

    Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
    Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
    Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program
    Has an income that is at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level

The household is authorized to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including via the USDA Community Eligibility Provision during the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school years.
A member of the household was awarded a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year.
The household fulfills the eligibility requirements for a participating provider's current low-income program.

What is the estimated time for approval?

Typically, an application is approved within 20-30 minutes. However, some applications may take 3-4 days or even more to be approved as proof documentation needs to be reconfirmed. You can track the status of your application by logging into your account. After receiving approval, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a tracking number for your order.

What happens to customers enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program?

Once the transition period is over, your benefits will be seamlessly transferred to the new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) without any additional steps required from you.

Your service plan terms and conditions may limit the amount of high-speed data included in your plan and the actual speeds you achieve while using broadband services. The actual performance of your wireless data service may vary based on several factors such as reception, technology, and network traffic, and GO MD USA LLC does not guarantee the speeds of the data services provided.

Eligible households can receive one monthly service discount under the ACP. If you are already enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, your benefits will automatically transfer to the ACP after the transition period. When the ACP program ends or GO MD USA LLC's promotional FREE ACP service offer ends, you will be notified, and you can keep your ACP service by paying the applicable undiscounted rate plus fees and taxes.
